How we work, what to expect.

How quickly can you start? +

SMB Starter: usually live within 1 week after intake. Custom web design: 4–8 weeks from the strategy session. We work on max 2–3 projects at a time to keep quality high.

Do you only work locally or internationally? +

We work out of Katwijk aan Zee on the Dutch coast, for clients across the Netherlands and abroad. Strategy sessions usually over Zoom, occasionally on-site for larger projects.

Who's my contact during the project? +

Jim. Directly. No account managers, no go-betweens. One line to one person from brief to handover.

What if I want to change direction mid-project? +

You can, but not ideally halfway through. That's why we work strategy-first: before we write code we have one A4 fixed describing what we're building and why. Changes after that are possible but go through a new scope document.

Pricing & packages

What it costs, how it's billed.

Are there extra costs beyond the package price? +

None that we hide. Hosting (~€30/mo on your own Cloudways account) and your domain name (~€12/yr) are separate. Beyond that: no plugin fees, no "premium" tier.

Is VAT included? +

No. All listed prices are excl. 21% Dutch VAT (BTW). For EU businesses with a valid VAT-ID we apply reverse-charge.

How does billing work? +

SMB Starter: 50% up-front, 50% on delivery. Custom web design: 50% at strategy start, 30% on design sign-off, 20% on delivery. Marketing retainer: monthly in advance.

Can I upgrade later? +

Yes. Starter to Custom: we credit your €500 investment against the Custom track. Adding Marketing: can start any time as a separate engagement.

Tech & tools

What we do and don't use.

What platform do you build on? +

WordPress with a custom theme. No page-builders (Elementor, Divi, etc.) because they make sites slow and lock you in. Custom code = faster, cleaner, easier to maintain.

Where is my site hosted? +

On Cloudways (European data centres). But the account is in your name, not ours. You can transfer or cancel whenever you want.

Who owns the code and content? +

You. Completely. No licensing, no lock-in, no "platform fees". If you stop tomorrow you have everything in hand to continue with someone else.

Support & maintenance

What happens after launch.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance? +

With Starter: 30 days of support for small tweaks included. With Custom: 60 days. After that you can take a maintenance plan from €200/mo, or pay hourly (€85/hr).

What if the site goes down? +

Cloudways has 99.99% uptime guaranteed. For plan customers we respond within 4 hours to outages. For others: send a WhatsApp, usually picked up within an hour.

Can I make changes myself? +

Yes. At handover you get a 30-min walkthrough of the WordPress admin. Text, photos and new pages you can handle yourself. For design changes or new features you can call us back in.
